A Few Remarks...

Here are somethings that I have always wondered:

How long does it take an elfling to grow into an adult?

When Gandalf was fighting the balrog, they were falling into a deep crevasse which was dug into a mine. How in the world did they end up on the top of Caradhras?

What does "Iorhael" mean?

Do hobbits actually enter adulthood at thirty-three or is that just a social classification?

Hum...

Oh, yeah, I've just realized, though it was really late, that in the pilot episode of Lost, when they picked up the French woman's signal, and they got Shannon to translate her distress call, which was something like: "Ils sont tous morts. Il les avaient tous tués.", and Shannon translated it as something like: "They are all dead. It killed them all." But, of course, since I understand French, I realized that it the "il" could also be "he".

Why haven't I noticed that before????
