Farewell!

And today, I mourn the passing of my beloved kitty, Milana. At the same time, I am eternally grateful to my good friend Yvonne who adopted her, and saved her from a life on the streets, or worse, put down by those evil SPCA people. (^_~) I wish you find love and lots of canned "Super Feast". And please remember, dear, that I love you lots and will visit you often. Also know that I regret having to let you go, but I have no choice; my father nitpicks too much. Mum sends her love, too. Lots of love, your Jie Jie.

Houses, Houses

That's our new house! Finally, we'll be out of the apartment, and we'll never have to bother with the landlady anymore! Yay! And it's pretty cute, too, even if there are two more rooms than we need... I must admit, I'm pretty proud! ^^

And speaking of houses, this is my business card house! Not bad for my first day! Yeah, the business cards came from my mother, who wanted me to rip them after she changed offices, but... I have creative juices just waiting to be let out. I was ALMOST complete, but like all card houses, they must fall. T_T

The Lord of the Science Class

Dunno where my mind pulled this out of. And to think, school hasn't even started yet! I think I must have written this in grade 7. I fished this one out from underneath my bed. ^^'

Three Pencils for the ill-prepared under the lights,
Seven Nerds to stuff in their lockers of stone,
Nine texts for the ill-fated students doomed to write.
One voice for the obnoxious teacher on his dark throne,
In the class of Science where boredom lies.
One Principal to rule them all, One Phone Call to find them,
One Bell to bring them all and with the locked doors bind them.
In the class of Science where boredom lies.
By: Artemis of Arcadia (ripped off of the poem by the venerable J.R.R. Tolkien)
At least it's fitting. My dirty-mouthed science teacher is back teaching chemistry when it's time to get back, and despite the fact that these courses will help me get into a good college, *sigh* I sometimes wonder whether or not it's worth it. And for the love of god, he tells more dirty jokes than teach!
